Sampley Foundation selects 2020 scholarship recipients

The Sampley Foundation Committee is proud to announce that 12 seniors from Caddo Hills, Mount Ida and Oden have been awarded four year scholarships valued up to $28,000 each.
The Sampley Foundation was one of many organizations who was forced to adjust their operational procedures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year was the first year since its inception that the Foundation Committee wasn’t able to meet the students face to face and hear of their career goals.
The scholarship committee met April 30 at the Sampley Office Building where they selected the 12 seniors to receive Sampley Foundation Scholarships. The scholarships are valued at $7,000 per year and can be renewed for four years as long as recipients meet certain requirements for a total of $28,000.
Committee members are Jeff Black, Jason Lenderman, Frances Dobbs, Tammy McCarter, William Edwards and Ruth Norman.
