James K. Polk DAR Chapter Float Wins First Place in Mena Veteran’s Day Parade

Saturday, November 7, 2020, the James K. Polk Chapter NSDAR float entry in the Mena Veterans Day Parade won First Place. The previous two years the chapter also won first place. The National Society Daughters of American Revolution (NSDAR) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. The Mena DAR chapter members have dedicated themselves to historic preservation, promotion of education, and encouragement of patriotic endeavors. DAR members acknowledge and recognize veterans’ service, sacrifice, and commitment to the preservation of our nation’s freedom by supporting veterans’ events and veterans volunteer services.
