“Music at the Mercantile” set for Friday, July 2

There is no better way to begin the Independence Day weekend than with a trip to the Gap Mercantile in Caddo Gap for a night of free bluegrass music.
The McWilliams Family welcomes everyone to bring a lawn chair or blanket and join them for a night of bluegrass music and fun Friday, July 2.
The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will include musical performances from Mike Powell and the McWilliams Family. Mike Powell is the emcee for the Turkey Track Bluegrass Festival held annually in Waldron. The McWilliams Family is a local favorite and offers a wide range of musical stylings.
The concert is free, but you are encouraged to get there early as a large crowd usually gathers at the Gap Mercantile when the McWilliams bring out their instruments and take the stage.
The Mercantile will be open during the concert.
