Mount Ida Christmas parade set for December 11

The Mount Ida Christmas Parade will welcome Santa Claus to town Saturday, December 11, just after Dusk.
The annual Christmas Parade is sponsored by area fire departments and is open to all individuals and organizations that wish to participate. Whether it be a float, a vehicle, or on foot everyone is invited to participate. As always, the cost of entry is non-perishable food items for the Mount Ida Food Pantry.
The parade will line up at the high school campus and once it gets dark they will make their way through the courthouse square and around downtown to the county annex building. Participants are encouraged to light up their floats and vehicles as they help make this the biggest parade ever.
