Edward Warren Buxton, Sr

Edward Warren Buxton, Sr., age 64, of Crystal Springs, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

 

He was born July 23, 1955, in Bonnerdale, the son of David Buxton and Merle Lorayne Weston Buxton.  On December 4, 1976, he married Donna DePierre.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Vell Thornton; two brothers, Daniel Buxton and Randy Buxton; and one sister, Lorayne Dowling.

 

Edward was Seventh-day Adventist in faith.  He was an extremely talented equipment operator who worked across the country before retiring at home in Crystal Springs.  Edward loved hunting, boating, cookouts, hanging out with family and friends around the campfire and being outdoors in God’s wonderful creation.

 

He is survived by the love of his life, Donna Buxton of Crystal Springs; his son, Edward (Joy) Buxton of Crystal Springs; his daughter, Annie (Brandon) Elmore of Crystal Springs; three grandchildren, Layne Elmore, Keelie Elmore and Camber Rose Buxton; two brothers, Bill Buxton of Mountain Pine and Ben Buxton of Hot Springs; two sisters, Jane (Chester) Rigsby of Independence, Missouri and Beth (Jack) Goslee of Crystal Springs; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of wonderful friends.

 

Services were 10:00AM, Saturday, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. George Lynch officiating.

 

Interment was in Peak Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were C.J. Rigsby, Michael Rigsby, Bob Buxton, Matthew Goslee, Jason Goslee and John Goslee.

 

Honorary pallbearers are CHI St. Vincent, Hot Springs ICU team and the staff of Arkansas Hospice Inpatient.

 

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice.
