Cumulative case total nears 200

MONTGOMERY COUNTY – COVID-19 cases remain in the single digits over the past seven days despite an increase from four to nine active cases. The county death total has risen to nine.

Statewide the total number of COVID-19 cases reported has risen to 122,811 cumulative cases. That is 111,761 confirmed cases and 11,050 probable cases. As of Tuesday morning there were 12,488 active cases in Arkansas (9,957 confirmed, 2,531 probable)

Montgomery County’s cumulative total has risen to 199 (195 confirmed, 4 probable). This is an increase of 11 cases reported in the county since last Tuesday morning. The nine active cases include eight confirmed cases and one probable. There have been 181 recoveries and 3,167 negative test results reported.

Garland County’s remains the most affected among bordering counties with 2,850 cumulative cases reported (2,689 confirmed, 161 probable). However, their number of active cases have dropped slightly from 293 to 290. They are reporting 241 confirmed cases and 49 probable cases. They are reporting 2,478 recoveries (2,371 confirmed, 107 probable) and 82 deaths (77 confirmed, 5 probable).

Active cases in Hot Spring County have increased for the third straight week with cases reported rising from 164 last week to 201 Tuesday morning. They reported 188 confirmed cases and 13 probable. Overall they are reporting 2,431 cumulative cases this Tuesday (2,385 confirmed, 46 probable) They have 2,191 recoveries (2,160 confirmed, 31 probable) and 39 deaths (37 confirmed, 2 probable).

Clark County has seen a rise in active cases as well over the last seven days. Tuesday they were reporting 86 active cases (65 confirmed, 21 probable) opposed to 43 active cases last week. They have 608 cumulative (534 confirmed, 74 probable), 559 recoveries (506 confirmed, 53 probable) and 14 deaths.

Howard County is reporting 76 active cases (51 confirmed, 25 probable), 690 cumulative (598 confirmed, 92 probable), 599 recoveries (532 confirmed, 67 probable) and 15 deaths.

Polk County has seen a sharp increase in active cases since last week. They are reporting 74 active cases (53 active, 21 probable) oppose3d to 26 active cases last week. They have 445 cumulative cases (413 confirmed, 32 probable), 366 recoveries (355 confirmed, 11 probable) and five deaths.

Yell County is reporting 62 active cases (52 confirmed, 10 probable), 1,418 cumulative (1,392 confirmed, 26 probable), 1,324 recoveries (1,311 confirmed, 13 probable) and 32 deaths (29 confirmed, 3 probable).

Scott County is reporting 39 active cases (25 confirmed, 14 probable). They have had 267 cumulative cases (233 confirmed, 34 probable), 226 recoveries (206 confirmed, 20 probable) and 2 deaths.

Pike County is reporting 19 active cases (15 confirmed, 4 probable), 291 cumulative (275 confirmed, 16 probable), 271 recoveries (260 confirmed, 11 probable) and one probable death.
