COVID-19 cases remain low, one case reported

There are currently 333,511 cumulative cases in Arkansas. This includes 261,472 confirmed cases and 72,039 probable cases. There are 325,969 recoveries and 5,699 deaths. 4,525 COVID-19 related deaths could be traced back to confirmed cases while 1,174 were the result of probable cases.

As of Tuesday morning there were 1,789 active cases. There are 1,269 confirmed cases and 520 probable cases. There were 1,289 new cases last week across the state. This is an increase of 165 from the previous week’s new case total.

Active cases of COVID-19 have dropped to single digits in Montgomery County and most surrounding counties. Hot Spring and Garland Counties are reporting double digit active case counts, while the others are reporting six cases or less.

Montgomery County has had one new cases reported in the past seven days and sits at one confirmed active case. They have 753 cumulative cases (551 confirmed, 202 probable), 719 recoveries (528 confirmed, 191 probable) and 33 deaths (22 confirmed, 11 probable).

Hot Spring County sees a much needed decline in cases with 30 active cases reported (29 confirmed, 1 probable). They have 5,045 cumulative cases (4,538 confirmed, 507 probable), 4,943 recoveries (4,445 confirmed, 498 probable) and 71 deaths (63 confirmed, 8 probable).

Garland County’s active cases dropped to 24 this week with 22 confirmed and 2 active cases being reported. There are 10,082 cumulative cases (8,486 confirmed, 1,596 probable), 9,801 recoveries (8,256 confirmed, 1,545 probable) and 256 deaths (207 confirmed, 49 probable).

Clark County is reporting six confirmed active cases and 2,095 cumulative cases (1,716 confirmed, 379 probable). There have been 2,049 recoveries (1,677 confirmed, 372 probable) and 40 deaths (33 confirmed, 7 probable).

Pike County is reporting six active cases (5 confirmed, 1 probable) and 1,005 cumulative cases (771 confirmed, 234 probable). They have had 977 recoveries (751 confirmed, 226 probable) and 22 deaths (15 confirmed, 7 probable).

Yell County is reporting six active cases (4 confirmed, 2 probable) and 3,415 cumulative cases (2,959 confirmed, 456 probable). They have had 3,345 recoveries (2,905 confirmed, 440 probable) and 64 deaths (50 confirmed, 14 probable).

Polk County is reporting two confirmed active cases and 1,968 cumulative cases (1,656 confirmed, 312 probable). They have had 1,894 recoveries (1,597 confirmed, 297 probable) and 71 deaths (56 confirmed, 15 probable)

Howard County is reporting two probable active cases and 1,646 cumulative cases (1,040 confirmed, 606 probable). There have been 1,620 recoveries (1,019 confirmed, 601 probable) and 24 deaths (21 confirmed, 3 probable).

Scott County has no active cases. They have 928 cumulative cases (604 confirmed, 324 probable), 914 recoveries (590 confirmed, 324 probable) and 14 confirmed deaths.
