Corps of Engineers campground renovations underway

The U.S. Corps of Engineers continue to work on renovations at two of their campgrounds on Lake Ouachita.

The Corps currently has ongoing renovation projects at Joplin Campground and Brady Mountain Campground.

Renovations at Joplin include the clearing of trees and leveling of campsites. The renovations at Brady Mountain campground include campsite, road and water plant improvements.

The Brady Mountain area will be closed until April 1, 2020, to allow for the completion of the project at that location.

The Corps maintains seven campsites on Lake Ouachita. They include Big Fir, Crystal Springs, Denby Point, Little Fir, Tompkins Bend, as well as Joplin and Brady Mountain.
