Caddo Hills/Kirby cohost “Pitch in for Kids” for The CALL

Rivalries seem to bring out the best and worst in players, coaches and fans. One of the best things that has emerged within the storied basketball rivalry between Caddo Hills and Kirby is the Pitch in for Kids campaign.

Pitch in for Kids gives fans an opportunity to help The CALL, a foster family support organization in Montgomery and Pike Counties, by collecting much needed items.

Fans who attend the Caddo Hills/Kirby game set for Tuesday, January 14, are asked to bring items including packs of diapers, wipes, packaged toilet paper, or paper towels. Items will be available for foster families who are working with The CALL in Pike/Montgomery Counties.

At a specified time between games fans will be asked to pitch their items onto the floor of the gym. Tuesday’s game will be held at Caddo Hills with the junior girls game tipping off at 5:30 p.m. The senior girls will have the second game while the senior boys will wrap things up in the final game.
