Caddo Hills and Centerpoint School Districts were awarded over $5,600 thanks to Racehorse Citgo in Glenwood and their inaugural “Fuel Duel” spirit wrap promotion.
The fundraising event raised money for both schools by keeping up with the amount if gas sold on pumps designated to each school Each school received a predetermined amount per gallon of gas sold with a guaranteed $1,000 given to each school. The promotion began the last week of October and ran through the end of December.
The Caddo Hills Indians received $3,462.77 thanks to Racehorse Citgo in Glenwood and all the fine families and friends of the school who purchased gas at the Racehorse location in Glenwood over the last few months. They received $2,462.77 from the gas that was sold through their pumps and an additional $1,000 from Citgo for collecting the most gallons of gas.
Counterpoint received $2,189.59 from the gas that was sold through their pumps.
