Brooks Mayberry Foundation to host fundraiser September 3

Friends and family of the late Brooks Thew Mayberry invite everyone to help them raise funds for the Brooks Thew Mayberry Foundation by participating in the Brooks Thew Mayberry Luncheon.
The fundraiser will be held Thursday, September 3, beginning at 11 a.m. and will be located at Elder’s Auto Sales in Mount Ida. The fundraiser will feature a pork plate lunch for $8. Pork Butts can also be purchased for $30. Prices and times are subject to change with conditions.
You can preorder your luncheon by calling Sherry at (870) 867-7101.
Brooks Thew Mayberry was a 2018 graduate of Mount Ida High School who was known for his big heart and kind spirit. He died tragically in an automobile accident shortly after he graduated high school.
His family and friends formed the Brooks Thew Mayberry Foundation in an effort to continue his legacy of giving. Through the work of the Foundation they have been able to pay for student lunches, supply clothes for the Lions Den Closet, pay for medical and pharmacy needs, and senior graduation expenses.
They hope you will join them in this continued legacy.
