American Legion Post 313 accepting first responder award nominations

MOUNT IDA – American Legion Post 313 is seeking the community’s help as they honor Montgomery County’s emergency services personnel and law enforcement officers.

The local American Legion post will honor a local emergency service personnel and a member of the local law enforcement at their annual Veteran’s Day event to be held in November. They are asking the community to nominate members of local law enforcement and emergency services personnel. Emergency service personnel includes local fire fighters, first responders, and EMTs.

A nomination form can be found on page 6 of this week’s Montgomery County News or at the end of this article. If you would like to make a nomination just clip out the form, fill it out and mail it to Weldon McDougle, P.O. Box 693, Mount Ida, AR 71957.
