Wreaths Across America (WAA) is proud to announce that its Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE), will be makings stops in Arkansas to honor those who served and welcome home Vietnam veterans.
“The goal of the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit is to bring the community together and teach patriotism while remembering the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes,” said Karen Worcester, executive director, Wreaths Across America. “However, over the last year, in light of the current health crisis, we feel this exhibit has taken on even more meaning by providing the opportunity for people to safely participate in something that is both educational and inspiring while supporting and giving back to the communities it visits.”
The stops in Arkansas will include:
TEXARKANA, AR – Friday, April 8, 2022 – The Texarkana Chapter NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution welcomes the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The WAA MEE is free and open to the public and will take place at 2400 Richmond Road, Central Mall. The event is open from 9am – 4pm.
CAMDEN, AR – Saturday, April 9, 2022 – The Tate›s Bluff Chapter, NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution welcomes the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The WAA MEE is free and open to the public and will take place at the Event Center located at 2740 Mt. Holly Road. The event is open from 11am – 4pm.
MONTICELLO, AR – Sunday, April 10, 2022 – The Col David Love Chapter NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution welcomes the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The WAA MEE is free and open to the public and will take place at 148 Veterans Drive (Veterans of Foreign Wars). The event is open from 12:30pm – 4:30pm.
MENA, AR – Tuesday, April 12, 2022 – Wreaths Across America in Mena is proud to announce a local stop for the WAA Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The MEE started its tour at the WAA Headquarters in Maine and will be in the area on 4/12/22 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM for a scheduled event that is both free and open
to the public. This event is presented by James K. Polk Chapter, NSDAR, and will
take place at 901 Geyer Drive Mena School District Football Field Parking Lot infront of the fence gate, Mena, Arkansas.
HOT SPRINGS, AR – Friday, April 15, 2022 – John Percifull and Akansa Chapters, NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution will host the Wreaths Across America’s (WAA) Mobile Education Exhibit for a day of education and public tours. Tours are free and open to the public from 10am to 4pm at the Uptown Mall, 4501 Central Avenue.
LITTLE ROCK, AR – Saturday, April 16, 2022 – The Gilbert Marshall and Prudence Hall Chapters, NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution will host the Wreaths Across America›s (WAA) Mobile Education Exhibit for free tours that are open to the public from 10am to 4pm at War Memorial Stadium, 1 Stadium Drive.
CONWAY, AR – Tuesday, April 19, 2022 – The Long Cane Chapter NSDAR host the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The WAA MEE is free and open to the public and will be located at the Antioch Baptist Church, 150 Amity Road. The event is open to the general public from 10am – 4pm.
WEST MEMPHIS, AR – Saturday, April 23, 2022 – Robert Crittenden Chapter, NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution welcome the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The WAA MEE is free and open to the public and will take place at 1800 N. Missouri St Holiday Plaza Mall west parking lot The event is open from 9am – 4pm.
BELA VISTA, AR – Friday, April 29, 2022 – The Lovely Purchase and James Bright Chapters, NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution welcomes the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The WAA MEE is free and open to the public and will take place next at the Veterans Wall of Honor, 103 Veterans Way. The event is open from 11am – 4pm.
HARRISON, AR – Sunday, May 1, 2022 – The Harrison Colony Chapter, NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution will host the Wreaths Across America›s (WAA) Mobile Education Exhibit for free tours that are open to the public from 10am to 4pm at the Jack Williams Veterans Resource Center, 202 South Spring Street.
MOUNTAIN HOME, AR – Monday, May 2, 2022 – The Captain Nathan Watkins Chapter, NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution host the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The WAA MEE is free and open to the public and will be located at Courthouse Square, 1 E 6th Street – North side of the Court House square. The event is open to the general public from 10am – 4pm.
JONESBORO, AR – Tuesday, May 3, 2022 – The Jonesboro Chapter, NSDAR, Daughters of the American Revolution host the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit national tour. The WAA MEE is free and open to the public and will be located at 208 Olympic Dr Tomlinson Stadium Parking Lot Arkansas State University. The event is open to the general public from 9am – 4pm.
