Rodeo to be held Friday and Saturday

MOUNT IDA – Snow Rodeo Company will bring some of the rowdiest bulls and bucking broncs to Mount Ida Friday and Saturday for the Montgomery County Fair rodeo.
The exhibit building will open to the public Wednesday from 3 – 8 p.m. It will be open from 12 -8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Rabbit and poultry judging will be held Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. All livestock judging will be done Thursday beginning at 5 p.m.
The Snow Rodeo Company returns to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds this year for the annual rodeo. The rodeo will be held Friday and Saturday night beginning at 7:30 p.m. The rodeo will begin with the popular mutton-busting and will include all the popular rodeo events like calf roping, bull riding and steer wrestling.
There will not be a gate admission for the fair this year, but there will be a $5 admission to the rodeo each night.
