The Democratic and Republican Parties will open their offices in the coming days to allow would be candidates to file with their respective parties.
The Montgomery County Democratic Party Central Committee office will be open for candidate and party member filing at 119 South West Street, between Polished and Shack Attack.
Hours will be November 4 from 12-2 p.m.; November 5-8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and November 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Questions should be sent to rclsmith@aol.com.
The Montgomery County Republican Office will be open for candidate filing beginning Monday, November 4, through Friday, November 8, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
They will also be open Tuesday, November 12, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Candidates will pay their filing fees at their respective party offices and then they will need to file their intent to run for office with the Montgomery County Clerk’s Office.
The filing period begins November 4 and ends November 12.
The Primary election this year will be held Tuesday, March 3 with early voting set to begin February 18.
