Pee Wee Lions win pair of championships

The Mount Ida Pee Wee Football program shined brightly, winning two championships while posting undefeated records.
The Third and Fourth Grade teams ended the season with a 6-0 record. They only allowed 12 points throughout the season with six of those points coming in the championship game.
The Championship Games were hosted by Mount Ida at Stidman Field. The Third and Fourth Graders defeated Mountain Pine 14-6 to end their undefeated season with a conference championship.
Coaches for the team include Cody Gaston, Jarrod Perkins, Billy Mayberry and Ty Rowton.
The Fifth and Sixth Grade Team went 7-0 this season and their stifling defense only allowed one touchdown all season.
They wrapped up the 2020 season in thrilling fashion thanks to an 18-0 victory over Mountain Pine.
Coaches include Jeremy McCullough, Bridger Farmer and Michael White.
