Hot Springs, Arkansas – The National Park College (NPC) Board of Trustees approved 17 new transfer degrees Wednesday during their regular monthly meeting. The guaranteed course transfer degrees will be part of the National Park University Center and will begin in the fall 2020 semester, pending equivalent approvals from university partners and the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
Dr. Wade Derden, vice president for academic affairs asked the Board to approve the degrees, which include five university partners. “While there are still approvals needed, we are excited about these degrees because they offer our students more opportunities for transfer without losing any credits. These are subjects we believe students need and we are responding to that,” said Derden.
