Norman Arkansas will be the place to be in the southern half of Montgomery County Saturday as they celebrate Independence Day with fireworks, fun and live entertainment.
The annual Independence Day celebration will be held Saturday, July 3, from 2 – 10 p.m. at the Norman City Park.This years event is brough to you by the City of Norman, Ligon Oil Company and the band Mother Girth
There will be something for everyone throughout the day including a water slide for the kids, a Baggo tournament and music for everyone.
For $5 a child can ride the water slide all day long.
The Baggo tournament will cost $20 per person entry fee with a Grand Prize for the winners.
Live music starts at 3 p.m. The lineup includes:

Concessions will be provided by Norman General Store with pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, and more available for purchase.
Fireworks provided and presented by Ligon Oil Company and its employees will begin after sundown, something around 9 p.m. You are encouraged to bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the show. Fireworks will be displayed from the Norman Baseball Field and are courtesy of Ligon Oil and their employees.
The event is free to everyone.
