Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa was recently honored by the The Arkansas Recycling Coalition (ARC) at their annual awards presentation.
The ARC held their annual awards presentation at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks, Eureka Springs Tuesday, October 1. The presentation took place during the Arkansas Recycling Coalition’s 29th Annual Conference and Trade Show. Each year this educational event attracts many professionals in the reduce, reuse, recycle, and sustainability field from around the state and nation.

Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa was the recipient of ARC’s 2019 Corporate Recycler of the Year Award. This award honors a company/agency/association who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability in Arkansas over the past year.
“A VERY PROUD DAY! Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa, and especially Vivian Green, Jason Brown, and the Facilities Management Department were presented with the Corporate Recycler Of The Year Award by the Arkansas Recycling Coalition at their 30th Annual Conference,” said Bill Barnes, Owner and Operator of Mountain Harbor. “It was a very proud moment for all because of the ABSOLUTE DEDICATION to recycle that is part of each company’s history and heritage,” said Barnes.

Founded in 1989, the ARC unites companies, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and individuals in a common effort to promote reduce, reuse, recycle, and sustainability as a primary means of waste management in Arkansas.
