Mount Ida Trap Shooting Team finishes district runners-up at FFA meet

Gracie Summitt finished second in the district and third overall in the female division at the 6th Annual FFA Shooting Sports Contest. The event was held in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Blake Wingfield walked away with Southern District Top Shooter honors. He finished third in the district.
The two led the Mount Ida FFA Shooting team to a second place finish in their district. The team includes Tommy Jack Thew, Gracie Summitt, Blake Wingfield, Paytton Thew, and Ian McDowell.
