The Montgomery County Courthouse will be closed to the public until further notice according to a statement released by courthouse staff. The closure is part of a countywide effort to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Courthouse staff asks the public to refrain from entering the building unless it is an emergency. They want to remind everyone that most business can be conducted via phone or email.
County Clerk Penny Black added that circuit court will be held Tuesday, March 17, at 9 a.m., but it would be closed to the public as well.
