Reported active cases of COVID-19 have dropped to their lowest in Montgomery County in almost two months as numbers continue to drop across the state.
Montgomery County was reporting 31 active cases Tuesday morning, 17 fewer than the previous Tuesday. There have been 22 new cases in the past seven days which is 10 fewer than the previous seven day span. There have been 1087 cumulative cases, 1,020 recoveries and 36 COVID-19 related deaths.
Arkansas reported a significant decrease in active cases being reported. Tuesday morning there were 15,004 active cases being reported. 2,817 fewer than the previous week. The 25-34 year old age bracket continues to be the hardest hit with 2,332 active cases. The 35-44 age group is second with 2,074 cases, followed by the 12-18 age group with 1,908.

There were 9,805 new cases in the past seven days reported across the state, more than 1,000 fewer than the previous seven day period. There are 485,452 cumulative cases in Arkansas, 462,841 recoveries and 7,482 COVID related deaths being reported.
Garland County is reporting the most active cases among bordering counties with 345, a slight increase from last week’s total of 432. They did see a decrease in new cases with 234 being reported over the past seven days. They have 15,356 cumulative cases, 14,643 recoveries and 366 deaths.
Hot Spring County is reporting 167 active cases, a big drop from 228 last week. They have reported 90 new cases in the past week. This is 55 cases fewer than the previous seven day span. They have had 7,306 cumulative cases, 7,034 recoveries and 103 deaths.
Scott County is reporting 159 active cases, slightly lower than last week’s total of 167. They have had 110 new cases, 15,75 cumulative cases, 1,393 recoveries and 23 deaths.
Polk County reported a jump in active cases with 136 being reported. This is 26 more than the previous week. They have had 102 new cases in the past seven day period. They are reporting 2,813 cumulative cases, 2,580 recoveries and 96 deaths.
Yell County is reporting 131 active cases, 56 fewer than the previous week. They have had 92 new cases reported, 4,422 cumulative cases, 4,214 recoveries and 76 deaths.
Clark County is reporting 94 active cases, 31 fewer than the previous week. They are reporting 66 new cases, 3,046 cumulative cases, 2,900 recoveries and 50 deaths.
Pike County is reporting 81 active cases, 23 fewer than the previous week. They have had 52 new cases in the past seven days, 1,613 cumulative cases, 1,498 recoveries and 34 deaths.
Howard County is reporting 71 active cases, 29 fewer than the previous week. They have had 37 new cases, 2,276 cumulative cases, 2,176 recoveries and 29 deaths.
