Mount Ida Mayor Jo Childress wants to remind everyone that paying your water bill is easier than it has ever been with multiple locations collecting payment.
Mount Ida Water customers can now pay their water bill at either Diamond Bank, or Southern Bancorp, as well as the City Water Office.
Mayor Childress stated that the city has had a working relationship with Diamond Bank for years. She is excited to announce that Southern Bancorp has partnered with the city to make it even easier for customers to pay their water bill.
Anyone is welcome to make a payment at either bank. You do not have to have an account at either bank to make a water bill payment.
Mayor Childress reminds people that you can still stop by the Mount Ida Civic Center and pay your bill in person at the water office. They are also installing a drop box inside the door of the building. You can also mail your payment.
