MOUNT IDA – A group of kind hearted members of Amazing Faith Ministries delivered some love and several bags of goodies to staff and residents at the Montgomery County Nursing Home and Assisted Living Center last Friday.

The ensemble of Sherri Ledbetter, Sean Robertson, Mary Diana Shaw and Felisha Bonazzi surprised the staffs of both facilities with bags of goodies to show their love and appreciation for the caregivers working at both facilities. They converged upon the nursing home first where they were met by one of Ledbetter’s family members who is an employee of the nursing home.

The plan was to surprise her with the goodies and leave without making much of a fuss. However, as word spread of their kindness several staff members gathered just outside the door to say thank you and pose for a photo. Facility director Tommy Johnston expressed gratitude for their act of kindness and pointed out that this meant a lot to the employees.

The group then made their way to the Assisted Living facility where they met with much the same love from the staff.

Amazing Faith Ministries is a non-profit clothing outreach and assistance organization. They have helped 1,200 families to date with community events such as Back 2 School with a Smile, Warm Winter With A Smile, Pants&Prayers, Warm Hands Warm Hearts Spring Into Blessing and  Pretty In Pink.
