Montgomery County Agriculture Extension Agent Randy Black was recently named the 2021 Arkansas Master Gardener’s Agent of the Year for all clubs with 50 or fewer members.
Randy has been the Agriculture Extension Agent for Montgomery County since January 2015. He was nominated for the award by the Montgomery County Master Gardener’s Club.
As the local agriculture agent he serves local farmers in many ways. He is also involved in experimental growth projects and works with the local 4-H Clubs and the livestock show at the Montgomery County Fair each year.
Randy also works closely with the local Master Gardener’s Club.
The Montgomery County Master Gardener’s Club meets monthly at the Montgomery County Annex Building. They meet to discuss gardening and improve their skills while maintaining several landscaping projects around the county.
