Lions defend homecourt with back to back to back wins

The Mount Ida Lions emerged from last week’s busy four game stand with three wins at home over Murfreesboro, Cossatot River and Horatio. Mount Ida also earned wins in the junior high ranks with the Junior Lady Lions earning wins over Murfreesboro and Cossatot River and the Junior Indians earning wins over Cossatot River and Horatio.

The Lady Lions struggled all week, failing to earn a victory in four games. They opened the week with a 61-30 road loss at Ouachita, followed by home losses to Murfreesboro (62-24), Cossatot River (55-27) and Horatio (51-45).

The senior boys started the week with a tough 65-33 loss at the hands of the Ouachita Warriors, but rebounded with wins over Murfreesboro (53-41), Cossatot River (54-27) and Horatio (61-58).
