The Montgomery County Library in Mount Ida will reopen Tuesday, June 30, with restrictions after being closed for three months due to COVID-19.
The Montgomery County Library will be open from 10:30 am 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Montgomery County Librarian Phyllis Davis has posted a list of guidelines for the library once it opens later this month.
Do not visit the library if you are running a fever, feel ill, or have been diagnosed with a contagious disease including, but not limited to: COVID-19, Influenza, Strep Throat, etc. in the last 14 days.
ALL patrons will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of 6 feet between patrons.
No more than 10 patrons at a time will be allowed in the library.
Computers usage will be limited to 30 minutes per patron and only 2 computers will be available for use.
Meeting rooms are not available and all programs are canceled until further notice.
Library patrons can still access the library’s online services through Hoopla and LIBBY.
Although the Montgomery County Library Summer Program has been cancelled, Phyllis has recommended young people participate in the Arkansas State Library’s online summer reading program which can be found at http://omrlibrary.readsquared.com/.
