An Entergy project will result in a four day Labor Day weekend for Caddo Hills Students.
The Caddo Hills School District announced via Facebook that they will implement an Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) for Friday, September 3 due to Entergy needing to turn off power to our campus for an extended period of time.
K-6 students will receive a paper packet of work for Friday.
7-12 students will have access to both paper and digital assignments to complete for Friday.
The AMI work means students will still have school work to do Friday, but it does give them a break from campus.
Students will return to school Tuesday, September 7 with their completed assignments.
While unrelated to the AMI day, the shutdown should help curtail the spread of COVID-19 on campus. The district recently implemented a mask mandate until September 10 due to a rise in virus related absences.
