The Caddo Hills School Board voted to renew contracts for both principals during their February meeting.
The meeting opened with prayer by Superintendent Deric Owens. The board approved the agenda, the minutes and the financial report.
The first order of business was the approval of a legal transfer of a Caddo Hills student to the Mount Ida School District.
The board also approved a one-time Covid Testing Stipend of $4,000.00 for school nurse, Tandy Pittman. The stipend was due to afterhours testing she had performed. The stipend was paid for with a state ELC Reopening Schools Grant.
The Board approved the legislative audit for fiscal year 2021.
The Board approved the purchase of switches and installation for their network infrastructure. The switches will be purchased from White River Services for $18,656.45. Th funds will be paid with ESSER funds.
After a brief executive session the Board approved the rehiring of administrators, Jason Whitaker, High School Principal; Debbie Stephens, Elementary Principal; and Kathy Baker, LEA Supervisor and Federal Programs Coordinator.
The board also approved a request to rent the school district’s house to Bradley Hartwick.
With no other business the meeting was adjourned.
