Caddo Christmas Classic cancelled

The return of the Caddo Christmas Classic will have to wait another year. Coach James Owens stated that the classic has been cancelled this year due to a school pulling out of the event.

The Caddo Christmas Classic was set to be played December 27-29 at Caddo Hills High School. the round robin style showcase was set to feature teams from Montgomery County and the surrounding area.

Owens stated that they had been notified by a county school that they would not be able to attend. This was going to diminish the number of teams to a point that they had to cancel the Classic.

The senior high teams will travel to Mineral Springs for a tournament scheduled for January 6-11. They will return to regular action January 7 as they play host to Umpire.
