DEWAYNE HOLLOWAY/dewayne@mcnews.online
Shopping local has never been easier thanks to Shop Local events set for Saturday, November 28 right here in Montgomery County.
The Mount Ida Fine Arts Shopping Fair will be held Saturday, November 28 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. The event will be held at the Roosevelt Auditorium located next to the Mount Ida High School Gymnasium at 414 Whittington Street.
The shopping fair will feature local venders selling a wide variety of products. Venders include local artists, artisans, crafters and moonlight vendors.
The event gives residents an opportunity to finish their Christmas shopping without leaving Montgomery County.
If COVID-19 has you wary of going out you can always stay at home Saturday, November 28, and celebrate Shop Local Saturday by visiting the virtual vendor fair sponsored by the Mount Ida Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Shop Local virtual vendor fair helps both local businesses and customers come together online. This event will exclusively feature local businesses. Vendors can either “man” their booth virtually, or they can leave information for potential customers to view. If they want to buy something they just simply contact the vendor to do so.
For more information regarding the online festival please contact the Mount Ida Area Chamber of Commerce by phone at (870) 867-2723, or by email at director@mtidachamber.com
