Bob’s Food City partners with Front Porch Stage

Bob’s Food City partnered with the Front Porch Stage by purchasing a new sound system for the area music venue.

Bob’s Food City owners Rex Stormy Cooper presented representatives from the Front Porch Stage with a check valued at $11,193.06 to cover the purchase of a new sound system.

Bob’s Food City joins other local businesses who have supported the Front Porch Stage throughout the 2022. The plan is to have the new sound system installed by the start of the 2023 concert season.

The Front Porch Stage is located on the Montgomery County Courthouse Square in Mount Ida. This year they hosted bands and individual musicians for 20 successive Saturdays from May to September. The concert season wrapped up with the Three Rivers Heritage Festival in late September.

More than 3,000 people gathered on Saturday nights to hear a variety of musical genres on the Front Porch Stage.

The Front Porch Stage will kick off the 2023 season in May 2023.
