American Legion Post #313 to host Veteran’s Day celebration November 6

American Legion Post #313 would like to invite all residents of Montgomery County to attend the award ceremony honoring the 2021 First Responder of the Year for both law enforcement and fire and Rescue.

The award ceremony will take place at the Roosevelt Auditorium, located on the grounds of the Mount Ida High School, Saturday, November 6, at 7 p.m.

A “Social Hour” program will precede the ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. A meal and refreshments will be provided.

There will be a raffle drawing for both a Savage 223 five shot rifle and a Charles Daly Camo .410 gauge shotgun. Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners will be notified.

This is the first time American Legion Post #313 has honored the men and women who serve the residents of Montgomery County and they would love to see everyone there.
