Aline Murphy Phillips

Aline Murphy Phillips, of Mount Ida, AR, passed away March 15, 2020 at Baptist Health in Arkadelphia, AR. Aline was born October 16, 1926 in a little community South Fork, in Mount Ida, AR, to the late Roy and Maggie (Campbell) Murphy. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Bill Phillips, and one sister in law Lois Buck.

Aline graduated high school at Lefe, AR. On April 25, 1945 she married William (Bill) Phillips of Story, AR. They then moved to Okolona, AR, where they were engaged in farming. She was a housewife and helped with the farming. When Bill died she moved back to Mount Ida, AR.  

She is survived by sister-in-law; Sharon Seale and husband; Dewitt Seale of Dierks, AR as well as several cousins and lots of friends.

Graveside service will be Saturday, March 21st, 2020, 1:00 pm at Joplin Cemetery in Mount Ida, AR. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
